The Vietnam Water Partnership is a network which liaises governmental agencies, institutions, social organizations, professional associations, water services, river basin organizations, businesses, media, scientists and water users active in the fields of water resources for the cooperation in views of sustainable protection and development of water resources in Vietnam and for the integration into the network of the Global Water Partnership (GWP) and Southeast Asia Water Partnership (GWP-SEA).
The Vietnam Water Partnership is the only network in Vietnam which is accredited by GWP and GWP-SEA.
VietNamNet Bridge – Many experts and economists who attended the seminar entitled “Review the Vietnam economy of 2009 and the prospects for post-2010” in the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho on August the 6-7th said that Vietnam needs to develop a plan to confront the water shortage situation of the Mekong River.
